The government Gift Aid scheme, allows charities to claim back basic rates of income tax on all donations, made by supporters who pay UK tax. Therefore, if you pay UK tax, Save China’s Tigers can benefit financially at no extra cost to yourself and no effort required other than signing the Gift Aid Form. There will be no need fill out a form every time you make a payment to charity, this form will cover you for all future payments.
This means Save China’s Tigers could stand to benefit by 28 pence for every pound donated.
